19 John Wayne Lane, Townsend, MT 59644

There’s something pretty special about finding a little piece of Montana with a story already behind it. This 9,100 sq. ft. lot sits in the Springville Original Townsite, an old mining town with plenty of history and character. It feels tucked away, yet it’s easy to get to and not far from Townsend. The property is a fixer-upper and includes a small cabin and storage shed. The cabin has had a fire, and the extent of the damage is unknown, so bring your tools, your ideas, and a willingness to take on a project. A septic permit is in place. A well and power will be needed. What you don’t have to work on are the views. They’re already pretty incredible. This is a small piece of Montana with history, potential, and room for someone to come in and make it their own. A place to start. A project to take on. And maybe the beginning of a pretty good Montana story.
